Chamber Bass
The first stage was to make an accurate drawing of the bass.
Masking tape was used to divide the back into sections.
An outline was drawn around the bass onto squared paper.
A profiling guage was used to copy the contours of the carved back and front.
Carefully measured and contoured drawings were made of all parts of the bass.
