Instrumental Groups

These will be tutored by Andy Hague who runs workshops in Bristol and is a trumpeter and drummer, and James Chadwick from Cardiff who is a guitarist.

The workshop will look at jazz standards, arrangements and originals and advice will be given on delivery and improvisation. Some time will be spent on techniques for backing vocalists.

Vocal Group

This will be tutored by Brigitte Beraha who is a fantastic singer and has recently run a very successful Jazz Weekend for CLJazz at Caer Llan. Also tutoring will be Heather Wensley who has tutored previously at Huntstile and Caer Llan. Heather will be giving individual tuition on Saturday accompanied by a rhythm section. Singers will be able to learn one or two songs, have advice on choice of key and performance and be given copies of the music.

On Saturday evening there will be a performance at Bar de Musique de Hunstile followed by jam sessions
